Its been super long since I updated my LJ.
Well, I popped on 16/11/09 c-sect with epi. Dun quite really liked epi.
Sherlyn is a naughty girl n so different from keven.
She has her own idea of what she wants n will cry to get her way to it.
The confinement mth is tiring as she keeps crying at nite so didnt get much sleep.
N another stressful thing is my maid says quit even before my confinement is over. So now searching for another maid..
Well, bf my girl is a tough job n I cant seem to satisfy her as she drinks 4 oz while I only can pump 2oz..but better than nothing, will try to continue untill I cant match her feedings.

When I went for my check up on monday, the gynae asked me again do u still want vbac?Actually I dunno..then we asked his opinon n he mentioned c-sect is safer as bb is getting bigger at 3.3-3.4kg??cos bb spine is blocking the measurement..
So on tuesday, we decided to go c-sect as my hubby said what if u try natural n again got to go emergency c-sect, then pain for nothing.
So I decided to go what my gynae suggested n hubby opinon, n decided on the c-sect date which he asked his sis to see tong shu..on th 16th Nov..
Although in my heart I still want to try natural..hahaha..
yest went to put the deposit and I asked my gynae what if bb decides to come out earlier? He said there is 2 options, try natural or go straight to c-sect..haha, so i told him if bb decides to come out earlier I want to try natural...
My hubby wasnt very supportive, so gynae said if it happens then we can tell him the decision on that day if bb decides to come early..
But anyway I got a hunch it will be like my boy want to stay inside n not coming out yet...
This time round it will be epi c-sect instead of GA as my gynae mention it is safer.So this time round I will be able to carry n see my bb once she is born..
Feeling excited and rather scared to go under knife again...But no matter what type of delivery method most impt is safe.

Visited gynae on 9/11/09.
BB was now a hefty 3.3kg...my gynae asked what did I do or eat?
Was really shocked to see the bb gain so much weight in 2 weeks, 500grams.
This time round I gained 1.5kg. So total weight gain at 9kg I suppose.
Gynae has suggested another visit next mon to see how is the bb weight..
Maybe VBAC is not possible cos of bb size n cannot induce.
So have been trying to cut down my food intake..which is so difficult!! Cos now mommy always feel hungry!! luckily just another 2 weeks lesser.
Having protein in my urine, n was dignosed with D6??or didnt hear properly whats the name of it..Gynae said can be treated after delivery not to worry. Was also given some antibotic for some fungal infection.
Now deligently drinking coconut water and no more tonic or milo for me...which i think its the cause of the huge weight gain.
Still clearing my work before I go on ML next week...

At week 36, BB has grown quite a bit now weighing at 2.8kg slighltly lighter than keven who is 2.9kg at 36wks.
Gynae asked me abt VBAC and I said I would still want to try.
So hopefully all goes well for VBAC.
So far gained another 400grams from my last visit. Dun think the weight gain on me will be a lot for the next 3 weeks.
Going back to work the coming week on 26/10/09. Starting to feel tired as tummy getting bigger n heavier..But hopefully can endure another 2 weeks before I go on my maternity leave as I was on hospital leave for the past 2 wks too much backlog n handover need to be done.
Oh naming BB has become a headache...
The name tentively is Emilyn. Which my friend quoted like auntie name...

Had a false alarm on sat, was showering and ready to go out with Keven when I discovered that I was bleeding.
I didnt realise it until I was about to wear my clothes.
Called my gynae and was asked to go to delivery suite in KKH right away as it maybe signs of delivery. But I was thinking so early? I havent even packed my bag, didnt bring out my steriliser to descale.
It made me realised that this pregnancy might be early and need to prepare myself better. A lesson to be learnt.
Rushed to the delivery suite for ctg monitoring, must say that I am quite satisfied with KKH nurse. They are very friendly and helpful unlike what I imagined. During the CTG I buzzed the nurse twice, as the 1st time I couldnt hear the heart beating sound and the second time keven called and interuppted the CTG which it stopped for a while and afterwhich the nurse knew that I was really worried and came in check more frequent.
Having Keven was a breeze as compared to this pregnancy.
When the doc in charge came in to check on me, he told me I was not bleeding from inside and my cervic is still closed and no contraction was found.
I was put on 1 nite stay for observation. Today when my gynae came he told me that it is due to placenta bleeding which sometimes occur during pregnancy. When he came in he still can ask me "why are you here?"haha to lighten my mood and explained to me and told me not to worry.
Anyway I was given another 14days of hospital leave and had to see him within next week.
This pregnancy I took so much leave..
The nice part of the hospital stay was I get to glimpse the fireworks at little india..hahaha... Oh ya during my stay I was given 3 times of ctg n twice heart beat detector. Must say the stay was good n the nurses is very friendly n polite..unlike the olden days.
Sorry for the long post,would like to keep it in as memory. Hopefully, I can tahan for another 5 more weeks.

Just wanna post it in my memory..
Went for my 33wks check up and bb weight is good at 2.1kg. While mummy now gains a total of 6.8kg. Very happy that this time the weight gain is good.
so another 6 more weeks to go..hopefully wont gain much as well.
Told my gynae I wanted VBAC this time round, n he reminded me to keep the bb small at 3kg so that wont rupture my scar.Hopefully this time round I can really succeed.
Keven is getting more clingy each day and he can now sense someone is snatching his mummy..hahaha..hopefully when mei mei comes he can take care of her n be a big brother..although now dun seem to have any signs..hopefully will change...

Keven had his first school excursion trip to zoo all by himself with the teachers.
I was intially worried that he might run around..as this is the first time I ever let him out alone with other pple...haha protective mama.
Intially wanted to go with him,but think i cant really catch up with him now with the big tummy of mine.
Called up the school to check if my maid can go , the school discourages outsiders to go..
But to my surprise a lot of parents n maid went yesterday. So kinda regretted not having someone with him.
Well its time to let him be more independant..
I even gave him camera to take pics for me to see...
He really took pics but not so nice..luckily there is one maid whom my maid knows, n she helped to take 2 pics of him.very nice of her.
I was happy to hear from another parent this morning when I bring him to school, that she praised him of being a very good n independant boy, n even helped to take care the other children....kekeke...so cant forever treat him like a baby...cos in my heart I know I still treat him like a baby who needs mummy all the time..He can be independant as well.

Keven was down with cough n fever last week...till now still coughing...
N I also kanna coughing ..maybe preggie makes me weaker..if not normally I wont get infected by my boy so easily.
Yest went for my gynae check up and Oral Glucose test since I am overweight in the beginning of the pregancy the doc advised me to go for OGTT.
Needed to withdraw one syringe of blood before drinking the glucose drink..
The nurse said it was unpleasant...haha to my surprise, I found it quite nice...after the drink have to wait another 2 hrs before getting another syringe of blood...
The test result will be out next week..keeping my fingers crossed that it will be alrite.
BB was in a good weight...too good..at 1.4kg at 29weeks,thats a whopping 800g gain from my last visit...my gynae advised me to take care of my diet n do some exercise.After comparing Keven weight at 29weeks, Keven was bigger at 1.6kg.
I told my gynae my weight gain was only 1kg, he told me becos u havent had breakfast...kekeke..
but I am happy that this time round..the weight gain has been stable..n I suppose the 1kg gain is all to bb?hahhaa
so total weight gain at 29weeks is at 6kg.Hopefully can maitain the good weight in another 2 more mths.
My gynae was very funny, he said dun need 3D scan also can see bb face, n he did a nice scan on bb face...on the look of it..looks like my hubby again...
He said my hubby genes is stronger...so thats y look like him..kekeke

Yesterday brought K to see my gynae..He is so keen on my tummy rather than his sister..hahaha...
This is the first time he ever seen the scan...after which..he keep touching my tummy n sayang mei mei..I think this is the only time..he know the bb existance...hahaha..
But hopefully he wont be jealous of her when she is out..
The bb now weighs 600grams.. N so far I gained 5kg..Hopefully the weight gain will not be too much this time round..I hope it will be around 10kg..unlike K I think I gained abt 18kg.
